The Government is issuing a solicitation for annual crane and hoist maintenance and repairs, both scheduled and unscheduled, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and Appendices A, B, and C. Requests for a Site Visit must be submitted via email by 11 August. All questions are due by 21 August.
Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, incidental engineering, and management required to perform inspections, testing, maintenance, repair, and component replacement as required to maintain equipment listed in Appendix B with the manufacturer's original specifications. Work includes service work, preventive maintenance of equipment, routine annual inspections and tests, and other services. A certified inspector shall perform a complete inspection once during each 12-month period, including weight tests, magnetic particle inspections/dye penetrate inspections of hoist hooks and other critical components, and functional and operational tests. The contractor shall also perform repair service calls on an as-required basis, with response times not exceeding 8 hours during normal operations, and shall provide a point of contact with an initial call back response time not to exceed 1 hour.
