General: C.W. Bill Young Veterans Affairs Medical Center10,000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, Florida 33744, has a requirement for four (4) geriatric simulation mannequins and 3 decontamination capable mannequins for Bay Pines VA Medical Center.
**Background:**The BPVAHCS has requires 4 simulation mannequins to be used for staff training on the evacuation buses. Additionally, the BPVAHCS has a decontamination program that needs the decontamination mannequins for training and exercises.
The contractor shall provide four geriatric simulation mannequins (model LF04702IP W/iPad or equal) and three WMD/CBRNE/Decon full body trainer mannequins (model 101-088FB or equal). The geriatric mannequins must meet salient characteristics including full-body adult size, interchangeable pupils, limb range of motion, oral/nasal intubation, ventilation, CPR, airway management, urinary catheterization, wound care, tracheostomy care, NG/PEG tube, ostomy care, IV and injection sites, medication administration, heart/lung/bowel sounds, ECG placement, and monitoring of blood pressure, temperature, SpO2, and ECG. The decontamination mannequins must be full-body, non-electronic, durable, waterproof, able to withstand wet and outdoor environments, and allow for intubation, IV arm, and moulage. Delivery is FOB Destination to the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center warehouse in Bay Pines, FL, no later than 60 days after award.
