The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) requires comprehensive support services to maintain its global inventory of critical radio communication infrastructure, specifically the ASTRO25 Trunked Radio Systems. As these systems constitute the primary communication backbone for DLA Emergency Services, the contractor shall provide all necessary technical support to ensure the continuous availability, operational integrity, and efficiency of the DLA Enterprise Radio Communications network.
Objective: The DLA requires a comprehensive Enterprise Trunked Radio System Maintenance contract to ensure sustained readiness of its radio infrastructure, professional services, and subscriber unit support. The Government’s objective is to secure a contractor to provide high-availability Infrastructure Repair and Lifecycle Support Services, including dedicated technical support and the ancillary services defined within this Statement of Work.
The contractor shall provide 24/7/365 system technical support via telephone, dispatch qualified technicians for on-site infrastructure repair, perform annual preventive maintenance including cleaning, inspection, and electrical/mechanical testing of all network infrastructure, provide network hardware repair and advanced replacement services for the DLA ASTRO 25 network infrastructure, repair radio subscriber equipment to original factory specifications with firmware upgrades, provide CompassCom software maintenance including 24/7 telephone support and annual software license updates, support Edge Availability sub-systems, maintain the Dynamic System Resilience (DSR) Core at Columbus with full redundancy and failover performance, provide NICE logging recorder support including remote technical support and on-site repair, provide security update services to ensure integrity of the ASTRO 25 network, provide biennial software and hardware updates for the network, provide local radio support for consolettes and mobile radios including diagnostic checks and repairs, and provide non-recurring services under a Not-to-Exceed funding structure.
