The contractor must provide same-day sample submission and rapid testing for tissue, secretions, feces, necropsies, and other situational testing needs. Services include necropsies with board-certified wildlife pathologist, histopathology, cytology, Yersinia pestis PCR, Francisella tularensis PCR, aerobic and anaerobic culture, antibiotic susceptibility, diarrhea panel, fecal flotation, Cryptosporidium PCR, Giardia PCR, Cryptosporidium/Giardia IFA, Clostridium perfringens enterotoxin, clostridial fecal culture, C. perfringens genotyping PCR, and other bacteriology/virology/parasitology/pathology/chemistry/diagnostic testing as needed. The lab must be within a reasonable distance from the Center for employees to drop off samples.
